Welcome to the Heathfield and the Firs Surgery:The Doctors and staff extend a warm welcome to all new patients.The Heathfield Surgery has existed on the current site since 1983 and has expanded over the years as Heathfield itself has grown in size. In the Summer of 2002 the surgery amalgamated with the Firs Surgery at Cross in Hand in order to provide a secure and stable future for the provision of healthcare to the local community. The practice is a general partnership consisting of seven GPs with a wide range of clinical interests and experience, a Physiotherapist, Phlebotomist, a Counsellor, a Dispensary and full compliment of practice staff. We work with the extended primary care team including district nurses, midwives, health visitors who are all based at the local Community Centre. Both locations are modern-built with wheelchair access. We cover the areas of Heathfield, Punnetts Town, Rushlake Green, Three Cups, Broad Oak, Five Ashes, Hadlow Down, Cross in Hand, Blackboys, Waldron, Horam, Vines Cross, Old Heathfield and surrounds. Car parking is available at both sites.Despite the difficulties and changes affecting the NHS, we are committed to providing a comprehensive, high-class service to all our patients within the locality. |
