| How to See the Doctor of Your Choice – High Street: |
Surgeries are held every weekday morning and afternoon. Surgery times are 8.30 to 11.20 a.m. and 2.30 to 5.40 p.m. These are based on 10 minute appointment slots. Most of the appointments can be booked on the day but some are available for pre-booking up to two weeks in advance. When requesting an appointment you may be asked if the nurse could help you. Our nurses are specially trained to deal with a range of day-to-day illnesses. (Click here for information on our Nurse's clinics) All patients registered at the High Street will continue to be seen at the High Street, although you may be asked to attend the Firs for a blood test or an appointment with the midwife. Sometimes the named doctor may not be available at a particular surgery session. When this happens, the surgery session will be run, but with another doctor in attendance |
